Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where does the data come from?

A: The registry is built from Contract Management — the signed engagement letters synced nightly from SharePoint — so it lists actual clients we have a signed EL with. Each client is then enriched with their practice activity (Audit, Payroll, Tax, etc.).

Q: Can I edit client details here?

A: The client list is owned by Contract Management (Office CLA) — a client appears once its signed EL is filed in SharePoint. Practice activity is read from the practice tools. Changes sync on next page load.

Q: Why do some clients show multiple practices?

A: Cross-practice clients (e.g., a client using both Audit and Tax) are merged into one row showing all their practices.

Q: What does the status mean?

A: Statuses are normalized: Active (in progress), Completed (delivered), At Risk (overdue/blocked), Pending (not started).
